  • We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
  • Where people cannot keep 2m apart we have ensured at least a 1m distance and taken all the mitigating actions possible to manage risk


Yuu Kitchen will take contact details of all lead guests of a booking or table, in order to comply with Track and Trace.  We ask that the lead has details of all the guests of the booking.

It is now law everyone in each reservation is to use the Track and Trace.  We will have both manual and smart phone functions available.  We have the right to refuse entry if you do not wish to comply

We ask guests feeling unwell to notify management and/or cancel the booking in advance.  We kindly ask all guests to be familiar with basic government guidelines to help with the smooth running of the venue.

Bookings will be made to a maximum of 6 people, and enquiries over this amount, will need to be done via the Management to ensure that the maximum households is in line with guidance.

We have hand sanitizer at the reception, tables, and toilets.  Which we ask guests to use on arrival.

We are limiting staff interaction as best we can with tables.  We have reduced the need for paper menus by introducing QR codes so guests can view our menus on their own device. Disposable paper menus will be available on request.  As we have sharing style seating, we have measured out 1 metre distances, and have guests either sitting back to back, or side on.  Added to this we have installed glass screens to assist in social distancing.

We will also be operating a seat and greet for all guests to be taken to tables, via our 1 way system through the venue.

We will only be accepting credit/debit cards for the time being, no cash.

Our toilets have individual cubicles and we will be operating a 2 people maximum policy.  With 1 in and 1 out at a time.

Our team both front and back of house will be wearing masks.  And where necessary will be wearing gloves.  Alternatively we have taken into practice hand sanitizer after every task.  The teams have procedures in the kitchen to social distance where possible.  The teams have been trained on all policies to ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible.

The teams have deep cleaned the venue prior to re-opening.  Yuu Kitchen is always immaculately clean and well maintained, however we have added further cleaning times throughout the services to assist in keeping the venue free of COVID-19.
